SMU Athletics has implemented a clear bag policy for Gerald Ford Stadium and SMU Mustangs games. Only clear plastic bags, with a maximum dimension of 12"x6"x12" will be permitted at events. Small clutch purses, approximately the size of the hand, with or without a strap, will also be allowed. Separate security screenings will be provided at all gates for medically necessary items that do not conform to the clear bag policy.
The following items are prohibited from entering athletics facilities:
• Purses
• Coolers
• Briefcases
• Backpacks
• Computer and Camera bags
• Cinch bags
• Diaper Bags
• Fanny Packs
• Luggage of any kind
• Umbrellas
• Seat cushions with zippers, pockets or compartments
• Outside food or drink (one sealed bottle of water bottle or empty water bottle is allowed)
• Laser pointers
• Noisemakers
• Footballs or throwing objects
• Radios
• Animals (except those assisting disabled guests)
• Firearms, weapons, or knives of any kind
